Ex-tech Solution® designs and manufactures explosion proof enclosures, control panels and components. The company also provides an Ex enclosure population service and is part of the Pioneer Safety Group.

In May 2023, Ex-tech Solution® joined the Pioneer Safety Group, which means our customers can rest assured our high performance products are built to last and are fit for purpose in any hazardous area location or other industrial or marine application.
Serving industry for more than 40 years
Since the 1990s, Ex-tech Solution®, has been an expert in the development of products, equipment and solutions for electrical control and power signals in potentially explosive atmospheres. Formerly Schneider Electric for Hazardous Area and Technor, it now serves leading brands in a variety of sectors including:

Until1996
Schneider Electric’s Hazardous Area Department.
1997
Technor Group Norway acquires Schneider Electric’s Hazardous Area Department, establishing Technor Atex.
2013
Ex-tech Group Norway acquires Technor Atex.
2015
Technor Atex is rebranded as Ex-tech Solution.
2023
Pioneer Safety Group UK acquires Ex-tech Solution.

The Ex-tech Solution® product range is comprehensive and can be customised to meet specific customer needs. The explosion proof (ATEX) range includes control and signal units, control stations, motor starters and motor switches, junction boxes, flameproof enclosures for complex systems, limit switches and more.
